Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of mental health, which is one of the most important components of the general state of a person. The author of the article puts forward the thesis that in the event of various deviations, the following terms are used: “borderline state”, “disorder”, “pathology”, “violation”, “disease” and other, no less significant, definitions. Despite the fact that a person’s psychological health is the norm, it does not guarantee him a satisfactory psycho-emotional and physical condition, since in various psychological and pedagogical situations there may be a feeling of anxiety, depression, anxiety, guilt, apathy, fatigue, a feeling of depression and so on. When such psycho-emotional states occur in a person, we are not talking about psychological health or not health, but about a violation of psychological and emotional well-being. All the concepts listed above, despite the differences between them, are closely intertwined, since the basis of the psychological and pedagogical well-being of the child is the psychological development proceeding in accordance with his age norm, and there is no such a colossal difference between psychological well-being and ill-being. The following socio-psychological factors have a negative impact on the psychological development of students: the lack of spending time together with children as a result of excessive workload at work, the mother leaving maternity leave too early – earlier excommunication from the mother is a strong psycho-traumatic event for the child. When a child develops a long-term state of psycho-emotional distress, the ground is formed for the emergence of all kinds of diseases and disorders, both mental and physiological, which impede the successful educational and cognitive activity of students.
Keywords: information environment, pedagogical neglect, psycho-emotional distress, pedagogical conditions, educational and cognitive activity.
