Abstract. This article is devoted to the study of the possibility of pedagogical support of a student’s professional self-realization in the educational space of the university. By pedagogical support of professional self-realization of a student of a technical university, we understand the totality of pedagogical conditions of interaction between students and teachers in the educational environment of the university. The purpose of the study is to determine the possibilities of professional self–realization of a future graduate of a technical university. The problem of self-realization is solved by substantiating the pedagogical specifics of theoretical and professional training of students, which determines the personal, professional and social success of the future specialist. In the course of experimental work, difficulties of professional self-realization were revealed. Based on the results of the work carried out, possible directions of the student’s professional self-realization were determined. The authors, on the basis of experimental work, determined the factors and risks of successful self-realization of a student in the educational space of a technical university. The possible directions of professional self-realization of a student of a technical university in the organization of pedagogical support are analyzed: the pedagogical potential of the educational environment of the university; the emerging personal potential of the student; the student’s perception of the prospects of the profession of engineer; the fundamental nature of the university, absorbing the traditions and innovations of modern trends and demands of production; the adoption of models of engineering activity in the context of the prestige and demand for the profession of an engineer. Pedagogical technologies of pedagogical support of professional self-development of the future engineer have been substantially modernized. The authors consider the dynamics of professional self-realization of a student during his studies at a university. The issues of implementation of the technology of pedagogical support of educational and professional self-realization of students as future specialists are considered. The main tasks, conditions and principles of pedagogical support of educational and professional self-realization of students in a technical university are defined.
