Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of studying the potential of systematic feedback, thanks to which the teacher has information about the stage of development of each of the students, what needs to be done to improve the level of this process. Feedback in the educational process can be manifested in different forms. in establishing “subject-subject” relations between the teacher and students. An important strategic direction of the domestic education system is a comprehensive improvement of the forms and methods of monitoring students’ knowledge at all stages of the educational process. One of the promising areas in education is the development of new models for implementing effective knowledge monitoring based on systematic feedback between the teacher and students. Systematic feedback, unlike conventional communication, is not a one-way process, but a joint discussion of specific educational tasks, planning further actions, and consolidation of successful results. This approach to monitoring students’ achievements helps to solve certain problems of modernization of education, in particular – establishing “subject-subject” relations between teachers and students, creating mechanisms for sustainable development of the educational process, transforming educational and cognitive activity from a reproductive form into productive cognitive activity, etc. Systematic feedback contributes to the success of the educational process, students’ awareness of their own level of assimilation of universal educational activities, if it is based on “subject-subject” interaction of participants in the educational process. In this regard, the author of the article argues that improving the types and methods of monitoring students’ knowledge based on “subject-subject” relations is becoming one of the priority areas in the education system as a whole.
Keywords: training, education, monitoring of students’ knowledge, subject-subject relations, systematic feedback.
