Abstract. Socio-economic changes in our country entail the transformation of the education system. A modern teacher should find an individual approach to any child, including those with developmental disabilities. To do this, you need to be a competent and practice-oriented specialist, have excellent knowledge not only of your subject, but also of teaching methods, as well as psychology. School is one of the primary institutions of socialization, and it bears great responsibility for the formation of a human personality. There are more and more children with with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, it is very important for a teacher to be able to establish contact with such students, to properly build the learning and upbringing process. The topic of the study is very relevant, since recently there are more and more children with hyperactivity, but not all teachers own the tools, do not know how to work with them. The purpose of this study is to study the features of   education and upbringing of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Research objectives: to analyze the degree of study of the research problem in the psychological and pedagogical literature; to create and describe a model of education and upbringing for a child with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The following research methods were used in the work: analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, modeling. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that the described interaction of a teacher-psychologist, teachers and parents is very important for the education and upbringing of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and their further successful socialization. The model of education and upbringing of a child with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder proposed in the article can be used in the work of a teacher, a teacher-psychologist. The article may also be of interest to parents who have children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
