Abstract. From the standpoint of phenomenological and essential approaches, the article attempts to identify the features of the formation of creative qualities of the head of an educational organization, from the unfolding of the essence of which the philosophical foundations and historical determinants of the phenomenon are clearly revealed, the pedagogical, psychological and social features of the phenomenon are revealed, the cultural prerequisites for the formation and development of further creativity in education management, which makes it possible to discover and record in a pedagogical thesaurus the immanent essence and levels of creativity, the functional connection and differentiation of the impact of management decisions on the subject, the form of coordination of interaction in a team, methods, principles and means of management, as well as the imperative of responsibility of the head of a modern educational organization. In the year of the teacher and mentor, the authors turn to the value orientations of the individual, reveal trends in the development of creativity in education management, which are aimed at further anthropologizing the practice of education, preserving pedagogical sovereignty, expanding the scope of leader creativity, which helps the modern manager to competently formulate tactical and strategic lines in the management of educational institutions. organization, set goals and solve problems that make it possible to ensure the success of the existence of an educational organization, the stability of its work, to form and maintain its reputation and competitiveness. An important point is to identify in the article the essence, dynamics, factors and principles of creative management of an educational organization, influencing the object and style of management, the code of values ​​and the development potential of a modern leader, without taking into account which the management of an educational organization cannot be successful in social, market and long-term prospects.
