Abstract. The article deals with the issues of designing the subject environment in the educational environment of military institutes of the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. The author reveals the importance of the subject environment, which influences the formation of the personality of cadets in the learning process and the qualities necessary for the future defender of the Patronymic, taking into account the specifics of professional activity. The prerequisites for the formation of the subject environment in the military institutions of the National Guard are identified and considered. The subject environment of military educational institutions of higher education is revealed as a special form of pedagogical practice, integrating different forms of environments. Factor of personal and professional success aimed at improving the quality of training and education of cadets. Particular attention is paid to the means of raising the cultural level. Influence through moralization to the personal and professional development of cadets through the appropriate organization of their cognitive and professional activities. Activation of the student’s reflection, stimulation of the formation of adequate professional self-esteem. Stimulation of students’ motivation, emotional and volitional development, which influence the formation of the personality of cadets in the learning process. The pedagogical potential of the environment has an integrative character, representing the unity of components with characteristic features of educational impact. It is by immersing in the subject environment of a military university that cadets acquire values that affect the motivation for military service, adaptation in a military team, and the professional development of future officers.
