Abstract. The article discusses the theoretical and methodological foundations of the implementation of pedagogical coaching as an innovative educational technology of psychological and pedagogical support of the process of professional training of students – future specialists, proves the thesis that an important condition for the formation of professional competencies is the joint activity of students and teachers, aimed at developing students’ abilities to independent creative work, the organization and conduct of scientific research, the development and implementation of educational projects, etc. The professional development of students on the basis of the coaching approach is considered in the article as a purposeful organization of the educational and cognitive process based on the formation of the necessary professional and universal competencies and the building of subject-subject relationships between participants in the educational process to achieve established professional goals and effectively solve educational problems precisely through the maximum mobilization of internal potential of the student. The article substantiates the main definitions that reveal the problem of the formation of personal effectiveness based on the technology of pedagogical coaching: “coaching”, “pedagogical coaching”, “coaching support of the educational process” the need to learn, the systematic renewal of all aspects of the educational process, giving the education system a personality-oriented and professionally oriented nature, the choice of those optimal resources, thanks to which the greatest professionally oriented effect is achieved. The study identifies the essential characteristics, innovative approaches, the main provisions and components of psychological and pedagogical support of the process of professional training of students – future teachers on the basis of a coaching approach, thanks to which the maximum individualization of training, education and socialization of students is possible.
