Abstract. The transformation of the Russian social space to a radically new socio-economic format of life inevitably entailed profound innovation processes in all state structures. In this regard, an important socio-cultural role is played by psychological and pedagogical studies devoted to the specifics of using the educational potential of youth policy in the development of socio-cultural institutions, which together represent one of the most important socially significant structures of the state. From a psychological and pedagogical point of view, at the stage of functioning in a market economy, youth policy undergoes significant modifications in its structure, priorities, dominants, which actualizes the need to use the pedagogical potential of sociocultural institutions to improve youth policy. Young people cannot easily fit into the modern socio-economic and political structures of the state, as a result of which a change in social beliefs and attitudes of young people is carried out, and this, in turn, often leads to the need to rethink the activities of socio-cultural institutions: education, culture, sports, economy and other vital areas. The most important function of socio-cultural institutions today is the creation of conditions for the formation of a creative person who is responsible for his actions and deeds, capable of self-regulation, self-education and self-education. The article substantiates the thesis that the joint activity of socio-cultural institutions to solve global problems of socialization of the young generation, their involvement in political, socio-cultural and other problems of the state level is based, first of all, on the interaction and complementarity of various social institutions to achieve common goals and results … The transformation of the Russian social space to a radically new socio-economic format of life inevitably entailed profound innovation processes in all state structures.
