Abstract. The situation of cultural diversity today determines the strengthening of the ethno-cultural orientation of education and upbringing with the increasing role of native languages as guardians of ethnic values, a translator of culture. Migration processes are actively taking place, which leads to an increase in children from bilingual families who do not speak or do not speak Russian well in educational institutions. There are language and psychological problems for them and their parents. The authors consider the problem of organizing an educational environment aimed at preparing teachers to work with migrant children in the conditions of a modern multicultural space.The purpose of the study is to organize the educational process for preparing teachers to work with migrant children in the conditions of a modern multicultural space. The methodology of the research is based on the theoretical analysis of the results of scientific works, which present the main provisions on the organization of the educational process for preparing teachers to work with migrant children, as well as the collection of empirical data by the method of questioning teachers of general education organizations of the city of Gorno-Altaysk, which was conducted from March to October 2018-2020. As a result of the conducted research, the authors came to an understanding of the need to continue and expand this work, focusing on the problems of training teachers to work with migrant children in the conditions of modern multicultural space. We believe that this problem can be solved by a comprehensive program of socio-pedagogical and socio-psychological measures aimed at organizing communication and interaction of this category of children in the educational space, their integration into the multicultural space, taking into account individual characteristics and national identity.
