Abstract. The main issue of the research is the analysis of the level of development of the most important socio-economic processes that characterize and form the assessment of state governance. In this paper, the following processes were considered: the process of natural population growth; the process of forming an incapacitated state; processes in the scientific and industrial sphere; democratic processes and its economic basis. Methodology. The research method was used for correlation and regression analysis and content analysis. The information base included data from Rosstat, the International Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and databases of corporate organizations. Results. Correlation and regression dependencies were constructed (10 main dependencies), which revealed strong trends between the indicators under consideration, the correlation coefficient lies in the range from 0.6 to 0.8. Studies have confirmed both the possibility and the need to rely not only on statistical indicators, but also on world indices. Conclusions. The main conclusion is that the problems that exist in Russia in other countries are solved, because these problems are associated with a lack of resources necessary to solve them, and in the state management system, including in the legislative support of management decisions.

Keywords: statistical data on countries, world rankings and indices, regression analysis, management of economic processes, problematic processes, corruption, incapacity of the state, the level of democracy, the stability of the state.
