Abstract. The article deals with the problem of creating an export-oriented economy of the Krasnodar Territory in the context of external economic restrictions. The article analyzes the impact of anti-Russian sanctions on the external and internal economy of the region, and also highlights the characteristic economic and natural features of the region, contributing to overcoming problems in the post-sanction period. In the article, the author characterizes the regional policy of import substitution, focusing on the results of the political and economic reforms. Special attention is paid to forms of state support aimed at strengthening the production potential of the region and increasing the efficiency of export-oriented companies. The main content of the study is the analysis of the dynamics of exports, imports and production of agricultural products. The author compares the volumes of foreign trade in the pre-crisis and post-crisis periods. Analyzing the dynamics of international trade, the author finds out the reasons for the increase in exports and imports, and also shows the relationship between indicators of foreign and domestic trade. The main attention is paid to the factors affecting the export potential of the Krasnodar Territory and the search for ways to increase international cooperation in the region. The article reveals the reasons for the change in the geographical structure of exports of the Krasnodar region. In conclusion, the author offers tools to increase the region’s export supplies and create an export-oriented economy. The study of the international trade of the Krasnodar Territory made it possible to conclude that the current political and economic situation associated with anti-Russian sanctions and import substitution had a positive impact on the foreign economic and production potential of the agro-industrial complex of the region, thereby giving impetus to an increase in the volume of export supplies, as well as the expansion of trade. – economic ties and partnerships.
