However, at present, it is necessary to adjust the forms, methods and means of introducing the younger generation to the socio-cultural and Patriotic values of our society in accordance with the realities of today, value orientations, needs and characteristics of the modern young generation. This is the relevance of the work. The purpose of the work is to demonstrate the possibilities of implementing the tasks of patriotic education in the classroom in the disciplines of the humanitarian and artistic cycles with students-designers. The research involved the methods of comparative analysis, systematization and classification, as well as the method of analysis of the products of activity and conversation with students. The role of patriotic education as the most important component of the value-normative system of the individual is shown. Patriotic education is shown as part of the pedagogical process of familiarizing with the socio-cultural, political, economic and moral values of modern society. The possibilities of patriotic education are demonstrated through the implementation of metasubject connections by the example of classes in the disciplines of the humanitarian and artistic cycles.
