Abstract. The modern educational environment is also experiencing a period of active digital transformation, the key driver of which is artificial intelligence. One of the promising areas is the development and implementation of AI agents in the educational process. AI technologies, such as personalized intelligent tutors, adaptive learning systems, chatbots for feedback, automated assessment tools and learning analytics, are already changing traditional teaching practices. This trend accelerates the transition from traditional human-centered learning models to “human-AI collaboration”. Understanding how teachers interact with artificial intelligence technologies and how such interaction affects their teaching practice is a relevant area of research in the field of educational technology. The need for effective collaboration between teachers and AI is due to the use of AI as a teaching and learning tool, and the implementation of AI agents in the educational sphere changes the ways in which students interact with educational content, teachers and each other. The aim of the study is a systematic analysis of existing models of collaboration between teachers and AI, as well as identifying the key factors that ensure their effectiveness. The objectives of the study include considering approaches to integrating AI into the educational process, defining the role of the teacher and AI in collaboration, and identifying criteria for their interaction effectiveness. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the comprehensive approach to assessing the collaboration “teacher – AI”, combining technological, pedagogical and social aspects. Successful integration of AI into the educational environment requires a balanced strategy that uses the potential of technology while maintaining the essential human connection, an integral part of the learning process. The collaboration “teacher and AI” creates a new educational ecosystem, where technological capabilities enhance (but do not replace) the humanistic component of pedagogy.
