Abstract. The article is devoted to the issue of providing methodological support to teachers of secondary vocational educational institutions. The rapid pace of development of information and communication and digital technologies, the socio-economic life of society, have a significant impact on the professional activities of a teacher of secondary vocational education. This is manifested in the following: updating educational standards and training programs; introduction of new digital tools into the educational process; the student community is a collection of students from various cultural, social, and economic strata of society; building effective interaction with employers, etc. In such circumstances, the teacher may face a number of difficulties that he or she is sometimes unable to overcome on his or her own. In such a situation, he or she needs help, most often of a methodological nature. The article describes the main steps aimed at providing methodological assistance to teachers of secondary vocational education. These include the following: additional training for teachers; assistance in creating methodological materials; providing consultations and individual support to teachers; development of standard curricula and programs or purchase of a program for the automated development of work programs for disciplines and practices; creation of a community of teachers of secondary vocational education; creation of a system for the implementation of assessment and analysis of the results of the application of new educational approaches; creating conditions for the implementation of pedagogical experiments; providing assistance in the use of new information, communication and digital technologies. Methodological support for teachers of secondary vocational education institutions in organizing the educational process requires a comprehensive approach and active involvement of all participants in the educational process.
