Abstract. The article proposes an integrated methodology for teaching English in higher education institutions as an innovative approach to professional foreign language training. The methodology is based on communicative and interdisciplinary approaches, as well as the use of digital technologies. The article shows that the communicative approach allows creating an interactive educational environment based on modeling real communicative situations, discussions and group projects, which will improve students’ foreign language competence and develop four basic speech skills. The article determines that the inclusion of an interdisciplinary approach will allow adapting English language teaching to the requirements of students’ professional training. It has been established that the use of modern digital technologies, such as online platforms and interactive applications, expands the possibilities of foreign language training, improving access to educational resources and providing flexibility in the educational process. In addition, it is noted that an important aspect of the integrated methodology is the development of student autonomy, which is achieved through completing tasks that stimulate independent search for information and the use of digital resources for independent planning of the learning process. The developed integrated methodology of teaching English involves implementation at the stages of preparation, completion of assigned tasks and final reflection. The preparation stage includes the selection of appropriate teaching materials and digital tools, as well as preliminary determination of the students’ knowledge level. The stage of completing assigned tasks promotes the active use of English, and at the reflection stage, the achieved results are assessed and self-assessed, and directions for further education are determined. Combined assessment methods allow for a comprehensive assessment of students’ knowledge, taking into account not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills.
