FORMATION OF PATRIOTISM OF THE SUBJECT OF EDUCATION

Abstract. From the perspective of the holographic approach, the article attempts to identify the definition of the concept of “patriotism” by the subject of modern education, whose worldview is formed in an era of political change, difficult social and cultural conditions, when the primary tasks of pedagogy and andragogy are fostering love for one’s country, striving for self-sacrifice, and patriotism. The purpose of the article is to identify the meaning of the concept of “patriotism” for the subject of modern education. To do this, as a result of conducting a survey of two generations of respondents, a number of tasks are being solved: to determine the meaning of the concept of “patriotism”; to describe the factors influencing the genesis and evolution of patriotism in modern man.; to establish priority areas of educational work with the subject in order to achieve a synergetic effect, to consolidate in the human mind the ethics of responsibility for the fate of the country, to develop self-awareness and self-discipline, influencing the development of a behavioral strategy of the subject. The authors have established that the main concepts that are synonymous with the concept of “patriotism” for respondents are “Homeland”, “Fatherland”, “home”, “hearth”, “family”, “civic position”, “social activity”, while the tonality and semantics of the responses of student respondents and teacher respondents It differs, which is explained by the difference in people’s views on historical memory, heroism, and the feat of the people; on the social obligations that shape a person, as well as on traditional institutions: family, school, and artificial environment. The authors of the article propose initiatives within the framework of the educational process in schools and universities that contribute to the development, development and implementation of educational strategies and tactics for the formation of the spiritual and spiritual sphere of the subject, his high moral qualities, patriotism.
