Abstract. The article considers the process of innovative activity in the field of education as a set of professional characteristics for training specialists with a high level of formation of universal, general professional and professional competencies, possessing the ability to monitor the quality of education and search for innovative technologies and approaches to its improvement in the context of digitalization of most government agencies, including the education sector. Innovative management in the education system involves solving the problems facing the updating education in its digitalization conditions; management of educational systems aimed at introducing new pedagogical technologies into practice; creation of effective mechanisms and conditions for the formation of teachers’ readiness for innovative educational activities and improvement of the educational process, in which education can fit into new evolutionary processes, determining the priorities of humanization of public relations and positive social renewal in the educational services market, where the educational system, as an integrative scientific field, is one of the sources of innovation development. The implementation of innovative processes in pedagogical management is, on the one hand, a complex scientific problem, and on the other hand, it is a practical task that any pedagogical worker faces in their professional activities, due to the active implementation of digital technologies. Innovative technologies of pedagogical management in the context of digitalization of education are due not so much to the challenge of the new time, but to the need to identify the conditions, means and innovative processes for training specialists of a new formation to carry out professional activities in the conditions of a digital society.
