Abstract. Every year, the number of objects in the construction of which the technology of modular housing construction is used increases. The popularity of modular technology is explained by the possibility of quickly equipping construction sites with residential and public buildings, which in their characteristics are not inferior to buildings built using traditional methods. With the growing popularity and interest in this technology, the number of enterprises engaged in modular housing construction is also growing. To strengthen the position of modular technology in the construction market, it is necessary to reduce the labor intensity of production and the cost of manufacturing individual elements of a prefabricated building, which can be achieved by improving the technological performance of production. However, there is currently no information on the effectiveness of solutions used in the construction of modular buildings. The purpose of this work is to develop a methodology for a comprehensive assessment of the manufacturability of modular buildings, taking into account the processes of production, transportation and installation. To achieve this goal, an analysis of the literature related to the technology of modular construction was carried out. The result of the work is the formation of a structured system of indicators, the definition of which will make it possible to make the right management decisions when implementing modular construction technology. The article offers specific indicators for assessing the level of manufacturability of production, transportation and installation, which will allow an objective assessment of the overall manufacturability of modular buildings, taking into account all the features of this technology. The results obtained can be applied in order to reduce costs in the modular construction of buildings and structures, as well as to become the basis for the subsequent development of a comprehensive indicator to assess the level of manufacturability.

Keywords: block module, modular construction, manufacturability, manufacturability indicators, evaluation methodology, economic efficiency.
