PROFESSIONAL SELF-DETERMINATION OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE CONDITIONS OF A MODERN SCHOOL

Abstract. The socio-economic and political changes taking place in our country impose special requirements on the modern high school student and, above all, on the choice of a future profession, which must be carried out consciously. Chronologically, this is a young age when a person is required to determine the meaning of his life, find his place in society, develop his life position. Consideration of the accumulated experience In Russian) and foreign science and practice allows us to speak about the research problem as relevant and requiring a solution, at the same time, there is a lack of systematic research, a focus on certain aspects of this problem. The purpose of this article is to study the features of professional self-determination of high school students, to develop a program of psychological and pedagogical self-determination of high school students of a modern school. The study was conducted using diagnostic methods:” Questionnaire of professional inclinations ” by L. Yovaishi (modified by G. V. Rezapkina), “The study of the motivation of professional activity” by K. Zamfir (modified by A. A. Rean), the questionnaire “Communicative and organizational abilities” (CBS) V. V. Sinyavsky, V. A. Fedoroshin, test J. Holland’s “Definition of the personality type”, the questionnaire “Study of the features of professional self-determination” by G. V. Rezapkina. The sample consisted of 63 students in grades 10-11, aged 16-18 years. The proposed program of psychological and pedagogical support of professional self-determination contributed to the actualization of the process of professional self-determination of students by obtaining knowledge about themselves and about the world of professions, identifying whether students have a professional interest in a particular field of knowledge, psychological and pedagogical assistance and support in choosing a profession. The article may be of interest to teachers of professional educational institutions, educational psychologists, and teachers.
