THE YOUNGER STUDENTS LEARNING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE. WHERE TO START?

Abstract. The article reveals the psychological-pedagogical and methodical problem of teaching younger Russian-speaking pupils to the Russian language, the role of psychological and pedagogical support for inophone children, as well as the importance of studying the Russian language as the main factor in the socialization of the child’s inoculum of younger school age, the role of the class teacher in teaching and social adaptation of this category of children. The work presents the methods of teaching the Russian language used in various modules – writing, reading, speaking, listening – at the initial stage of language learning; The significance of each section is shown in the study of the Russian language as a non-native. The authors give practical advice to the teacher for organizing work with foreign students at the initial stage of teaching their Russian language. The authors believe that the assimilation of a new language by a child-inofon helps traditions (national, secular, confessional holidays, ceremonies, singing and playing in a circle, round dances, etc.). There is a need, when getting acquainted with the culture, paying attention to the meanings, values and traditions of their country. Familiarity with the culture helps children to master the necessary vocabulary that they need in speech practice.
