Abstract. Artificial intelligence systems exert a significant influence on the educational environment. This article examines the specific ways in which artificial intelligence impacts educational technologies and pedagogical practices. The study’s methodology incorporates both qualitative and quantitative research methods, a systematic review of scientific, methodological, and regulatory literature, as well as an analysis of surveys conducted among educators and students; it also involves the development of a pedagogical model and criteria for assessing its effectiveness. A detailed analysis of regulatory and scientific-methodological literature pertinent to the research problem is presented. Definitions of the concept of “artificial intelligence” are analyzed through content analysis, and an original definition of “artificial intelligence in education” is formulated. The constituent components of the concept of “artificial intelligence”—specifically from the perspective of the educational environment—are identified. The qualitative and quantitative results of the surveys conducted among educators and students regarding the impact of artificial intelligence on the educational environment are presented. The survey results reveal that 75% of educators observe an improvement in student academic performance through the use of artificial intelligence systems, facilitated by the application of educational technologies and innovative pedagogical practices. Furthermore, 66% of students reported increased motivation toward their subject matter as a result of the application of artificial intelligence. Challenges and risks associated with the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process are identified. A pedagogical model illustrating the impact of artificial intelligence on educational technologies and pedagogical practices has been developed. Upon successful implementation, this model facilitates the effective integration of artificial intelligence into educational technologies and pedagogical practices. Methodological recommendations for the effective implementation of this pedagogical model into the educational process are provided. Criteria for assessing the effectiveness of the pedagogical model—specifically regarding the influence of artificial intelligence on educational technologies and pedagogical practices—are formulated. The subsequent phase of this research entails the empirical testing of the developed model and its associated effectiveness criteria.

Keywords: artificial intelligence, educational technologies, teaching practices, educational model, integration, learning algorithms.
