Abstract. This article examines the challenges of employee training at PJSC Rosseti Siberia. The author shares the view that an employee training system not only facilitates their professional growth but also plays a key role in enhancing the organization’s competitiveness. The article presents PJSC Rosseti Siberia’s development strategy, a SWOT analysis to assess the company’s current status and key development factors, an analysis of the company’s personnel, and key areas of employee training. The author’s SWOT analysis revealed that strengths include the strategic importance of the infrastructure, the highly qualified technical staff, a stable financial position, and the presence of large clients with high energy consumption volumes. The company’s weaknesses were also identified. Based on the results of the analysis, a program is proposed aimed at timely updating and improving knowledge about new equipment. The author notes that the “Energy Knowledge” program is an online training and on-the-job testing system consisting of several modules that allow employees to fully understand the characteristics and consolidate their acquired knowledge about the implementation of new equipment within the company. The “Energy Knowledge” program, developed by the author for PJSC Rosseti Siberia, is aimed at minimizing operational risks and improving personnel efficiency through systematic training. The program’s economic justification includes an analysis of costs and expected benefits. An economic assessment of the program’s implementation revealed that the total development costs amounted to 1,676,000 rubles, resulting in savings for the company on emergency response and equipment repairs, a reduction in the number of accidents by 174, and a decrease in the volume of unsupplied energy by 12.54 MWh due to improved personnel knowledge and competencies. The author notes that the program’s implementation will improve the quality of specialists’ qualifications, reduce staff turnover, and reduce the number of emergency situations through systematic and continuous updating of personnel knowledge and skills, ultimately contributing to the company’s sustainable development.
