Abstract. The impact of global digitalization trends and the presence of external threats necessitate the rapid adaptation of the Russian economy to new challenges and trends in digital transformation, the development of new approaches, and the solution of pressing issues related to the formation of a digital infrastructure and support for enterprises and industries on the path to digital maturity. Modern management theory and practice are characterized by increased attention to innovative management tools at the enterprise and industry levels. The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive theoretical and applied justification for the role of modern information systems in transforming enterprise management processes in the digital economy, as well as to identify patterns of their impact on the quality, speed, and validity of management decisions. The study methodology includes an objective assessment of the development of information technologies from automated accounting systems to intelligent platforms with elements of artificial intelligence. Based on an analysis of the integration mechanisms of ERP, CRM, BI systems, and Big Data and machine learning solutions into a unified digital enterprise ecosystem, a comprehensive assessment of their impact on the formation of the enterprise’s long-term competitive strategy is provided in terms of the development of a new organizational management model. The role of information systems as a fundamental element of intelligent management is examined, and current trends in their implementation and impact on business process efficiency are analyzed. The study found that implementing information systems with elements of artificial intelligence and big data analytics can significantly reduce risks, increase the speed of response to market changes, and optimize resource utilization. Companies require a comprehensive approach: not only software procurement, but also digital management retraining and the development of a data-driven management culture.
