Abstract. This article presents a comparative review and critical analysis of theoretical models of international educational cooperation in vocational training in Russia and China. The relevance of the study is determined by the increasing role of vocational education in the context of globalization, digitalization of the economy, technological transformation of production, and the expansion of the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership. The methodological basis consists of a theoretical and comparative pedagogical analysis of models of vocational education and training in the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China, with an emphasis on the mechanisms of international cooperation, systematization of scientific ideas, and interpretation of research results. The adapted dual model of vocational education implemented in Russia and the model of deep integration of production and education in China are considered. A comparative analysis of the key features of the Russian and Chinese models of this process is provided. The strengths and weaknesses of each system, common challenges of bilateral cooperation, as well as potential areas and prospects for synergy in the context of the One Belt, One Road initiative and the Years of Russian-Chinese Cooperation in Education 2026-2027 are identified. The findings can serve as a basis for developing harmonized approaches to training qualified personnel within the Eurasian educational space. The research’s scientific novelty lies in its systematization and comparison of modern theoretical approaches to international educational cooperation, highlighting areas of their complementarity. The practical significance of the study lies in the potential application of the findings in the development of joint educational programs, institutional partnership mechanisms, and personnel training strategies within the context of Eurasian integration.

Keywords: vocational education, dual model, integration of production and education, Russian-Chinese cooperation, “One Belt, One Road”, synergy of educational systems.
