Abstract. The integration of artificial intelligence into education represents a breakthrough in teaching methods and opens the door to creating truly individualized educational pathways. AI enables the development of courses that flexibly adapt to the unique characteristics and learning needs of each student, thereby optimizing learning. Automating monotonous processes, such as verifying completed assignments and managing administrative aspects of the educational process, allows teachers to focus on high-quality interactions with students and implementing creative approaches to teaching. Modern AI solutions can also provide teachers with detailed analytical data on student progress and challenges, enabling them to quickly respond to emerging challenges and adapt teaching strategies. The use of such technologies not only helps students develop digital competencies but also helps them better navigate the modern world, where artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly significant role in the professional sphere. It is important to emphasize that AI is not intended to replace teachers, but rather serves as an effective tool that helps improve the quality of education and make it more accessible to a wider audience. This study examines the problem of university students’ inappropriate use of logical connections when constructing sentences in English and explores the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to address this issue. The study is relevant due to the need to develop students’ high-level foreign-language communicative competence, including the ability to construct coherent and logical discourse. The study analyzed the initial level of logical connection skills among first-year students majoring in International Relations, revealing a predominance of basic skills and a limited use of linguistic resources. The article describes a methodology for integrating AI tools into the learning process to develop additional assignments and organize independent practice. The results of the pedagogical experiment showed significant improvement in students’ discourse management skills using AI.
