Abstract. In the era of modern society, educational influence is carried out in a remote format. A teacher from unfriendly countries, during the implementation of educational programs on a commercial basis, carries out pedagogical interaction with the student through remote classes. When carrying out educational activities, foreign teachers have an informational and psychological impact free from the control of the pedagogical system of state structures, forming the worldview of young people living in new regions of Russia according to the guidelines of the customer countries. Often, boys and girls who do not have a firmly established system of patriotic values fall under the influence of anti-Russian forces, which can lead to the spread of extremist and terrorist views, Russophobia, and support for anti-state organizations. The object of the study is the peculiarities of protecting modern Russian citizens from negative informational and psychological effects by involving them in patriotic education events. The main method is the survey method based on adapted and standardized methods. The authors identify the key features of the language factor in the course of the destructive impact on Russian citizens during their distance education. The results of the study show that the most effective counter-propaganda method is patriotic education using special media information purposefully prepared for the formation of a certain type of patriotism. It is necessary to apply innovative and relevant methods of patriotic education in modern conditions of universal digitalization. The conclusions based on the results of the diagnostic study are presented.
