Abstract. The article considers the possibility of an operational assessment of the educational achievements of university students using the MOODLE digital environment. It is noted that the rating as an integral quantitative indicator of current work, combined with a qualitative assessment of students’ is a comprehensive characteristic of the success (effectiveness) of students’ individual activities as a planned result. The purpose of the work is to summarize practical experience and improve the methodology for assessing the educational achievements of undergraduates at an engineering university. The levels of success (effectiveness) are considered. The results are analyzed according to the control points of students’ educational achievements, taking into account the splitting of the rating. The survey methods, laboratory practice, and integrated control methods were used. The data is analyzed using the MOODLE environment and the Statistica program. It was revealed that there is a stabilization of the success rate of educational achievements of respondents (n=248, 2022-2025a/y) at a satisfactory level in the absence of practical classroom activities. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the proposed assessment methodology when using the digital environment allows us to quickly and objectively identify the level of success of students’ educational achievements throughout the entire learning cycle, while simultaneously providing formative student-teacher communication and summary information for everyone.
