THE EDUCATION PROCESS IN THE CONDITIONS OF DIGITAL SOCIALIZATION – DIRECTIONS OF CHANGES

Abstract. Today it seems indisputable that education must be transformed under the influence of changes caused by the digital revolution and adapt to the constantly changing reality, including in high school. The characteristic features of high school students, formed in the process of digital socialization, are strengthened and in themselves significantly modify the educational process. The purpose of the article is to analyze the educational process in the context of digital socialization. The problem of the research is to determine how the digital revolution modifies the process of socialization of young people, creating new spaces and new models of the educational process in high school. The research method was the analysis of scientific publications, which is carried out against the background of changes in the modern world, in particular, the dynamic development of information technology. The article analyzes the new quality of the socialization process of high school students, developing in recent years, and its impact on the educational process. The article shows that as a result of the emergence of new opportunities, the dynamic development of information technology, the creation of new foundations for the socialization process of high school students is observed, which is reflected in the educational process. It is concluded that traditional education is becoming less effective in the context of continuous and rapid changes in the world. There is a contradiction between the activities of students in the digital environment, their expectations from school and the way the content of education is presented. The author formulates and proves the thesis about the need for a creative approach to the implementation of the learning process in the context of digital socialization. Attention is drawn to the new roles of the teacher, building a community of students taking into account the values ​​of school culture and the modern media educational space.
