Abstract. The development of any civilization is accompanied by the development of the entertainment sphere of human existence, an integral part of which is musical art in general and musical and theatrical art in particular. Over many centuries, performing skills have come a long way. Thanks to this, a unique national vocal school has been formed with an inimitable sound of voices and a unique style of performance that cannot be confused with any other direction. This school has become a reflection of the rich musical culture of the people. The vocal school also represents a complex of technical skills and methods that allow you to achieve a high level of mastery in performance. The centuries-old tradition of vocal art in Russia and China demonstrates the bright path of formation of this type of performance as a separate musical activity.  China, like Russia, is aware today of the importance of raising the level of education for the national economy and its development. Since the end of the last century, the time of the rapid development of Chinese music education, more and more Chinese youth have expressed a desire to master vocals at a professional level. The number of vocal students is growing all over the country: it has almost doubled in the last 10 years. On the one hand, this is a joyful picture for society as a whole, on the other, it makes it necessary to increase the number of professional teaching staff in music education. But China is confidently integrating into the international vocal and musical art. At the same time, measures are being taken in this field of education at various levels – from school to government – to preserve the identity of Chinese vocal and performing arts, folk values and traditions.

Keywords: Chinese education system, musical vocal education, vocal teaching methods, traditions of vocal and musical culture, harmonious cooperation of educational systems, bel canto.
