Abstract. The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the demographic situation in the Ufa district of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which is an urgent problem in the light of changes taking place in the demographic structure of Russia. The purpose of the work is to analyze the size and structure of the population, as well as to study migration processes and their impact on the socio-economic development of the district. The methodological basis of the study was statistical analysis, sociological surveys and a comparative approach. The paper examines the main factors influencing demographic dynamics, such as the level of fertility, mortality and migration, as well as the impact of economic and social conditions on the above indicators. Special attention is paid to the problems of the population and the shortage of labor, which requires the development of effective measures to improve the demographic situation in the area. The article also clearly shows the dynamics of the population, the natural movement of the population, fertility, mortality (without infant) and the migration movement of the population of the village councils of the Ufa district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The results of the study can be applied in the work of local governments, social services and educational institutions to develop and implement programs aimed at improving the quality of life and stimulating fertility. The novelty of the work lies in an integrated approach to the analysis of demographic processes in the Ufa region of Bashkiria, which allows for a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the population and offers practical recommendations for its development. The conclusions of this study emphasize the need to integrate social policy and economic growth in order to achieve positive results in the field of socio-economic development.
