Abstract. At present, the problems of the world economy are becoming all-encompassing, which concerns almost every country in the world community. Global problems of the world economy are one or another economic situation that leads to many economically destructive results concerning the entire population of our planet. These problems are closely related to each other, that is, one global problem can generate many others. The crisis that has affected the world economy and the entire life of humanity in general is defined as financial. However, it is increasingly referred to as global, i.e. comprehensive, affecting all social institutions of the state and society. Thus, the modern crisis can be called financial, economic, environmental, demographic, managerial, civilized, spiritual and moral, socio-psychological, ideological. A worldview crisis is the result of collective disagreement in the activities of all social structures of the state and society, which generates destructive social energy that destroys the conscious social fabric that binds all people into a more or less harmonious community and, as a result, leads to a change in people’s minds, attitudes, motives, goals, and the meaning of life. In order to counter the crisis, it is extremely important to know the real cause of the crisis in Russia. Unfortunately, we have not heard anything specific from the government, the president, or high-ranking officials, except for general phrases about Russia being part of the global community and therefore also entering the system of global crisis. This article aims to identify the dependence of the problems of Russian society on the crises that constantly shake the global economy.
