Abstract. The authors in the article consider one of the most important problems of modern society – the influence of the Internet and digital networks on the intellectual and psychophysiological characteristics of a person in the XXI century. Information security is becoming an integral component of the professional training of students of all directions and profiles, including psychological and pedagogical specialties. The authors provide statistical data on the growth rate of Internet users and a classification of risks that arise in the information environment of modern society. Particular attention, according to the authors, should be paid during the period of professional training of future university teachers, issues of information and psychological security, as well as the rules of behavior in the Internet environment, which requires the development of separate programs and special courses. We also believe that ethical aspects of information security should be included in the educational programs of refresher courses for leaders of the educational system. The article also emphasizes the need to include in the curriculum training courses for future teachers of the relevant competencies that have a professional orientation – the formation of the basis of information knowledge and skills, as well as the foundations of information culture, which in their organic totality will contribute to the creation of information security in professional activities. future teachers. It is necessary to search for systemic solutions, and the existing gaps in the training of future teachers must be urgently filled, paying sufficient attention to this issue at all levels of professional education in all areas and profiles.
