GERONTOOBRAZOVANIYE AS NECESSARY PART OF MODERN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of the development of the geronto formation and gerontoculture systems in our country, identifying the characteristics of geronto formation as part of the education system. Some features of self-realization of an older person’s personality are discussed and the role of geronto-education is defined as a necessary condition for successful self-realization of an older person in the modern information society, especially since the social processes and phenomena occurring in our country completely change social reality, this leads to the fact that people (elderly no exception), regardless of their desires, are in a constant adaptation process to a new social reality. The author comes to the conclusion that gerontoobrazovanie contributes to the partial removal of economic problems by resolving issues of self-service, help relatives, gives a chance to find a niche for feasible work. One of the most important findings is that the decline in intellectual activity indicators associated with age can be prevented through targeted and systematic (periodic) training, which leads to the formation of a qualitatively new look of old age as a possible standard (ideal) to be achieved by younger generations.
