STUDYING THE INFORMATION NEEDS OF CORPORATE USERS IN THE FIELD OF SMALL AGRIBUSINESS

Abstract. The relevance of the problem stated in the article is due to the fact that the digitalization of the economy requires new approaches to the organization of information services for the most vulnerable collective users in the field of agricultural production. In the framework of this study small forms of management in agribusiness are referred to collective users. The purpose of the article is to consider the values of collective users of information, including the concepts of information needs, information behavior, consumer requirements for information products and the service process as a whole. The leading methods in the study of this problem are abstract-logical, monographic and evolutionary methods. The work also applies a cybernetic approach to modeling and set theory. The information need of small agribusiness representatives is the need of these entities for information on various issues of their activities. The composition of the information needs and the principles of organization of the process of its satisfaction are described using the formula “5W + 1H”. The role of small forms of management, which they perform in the process of meeting information needs. The significance of the research topic is determined by the fact that in most cases for small business information is the only resource (capital) at the initial stage of operation.
