Abstract. The article presents the basic principles of training and education of military personnel in the process of physical training. It is indicated that the system of principles of training and education of servicemen is in constant development and improvement, both in the direction of a more detailed and in-depth disclosure of the requirements of each existing one, and in the direction of searching for new principles conditioned by the needs of military service practice and educational work in a military team. The principles of training and education are an important methodological basis that determines the effectiveness of the construction of the educational process in a military college. Didactic principles determine the system of requirements for the purpose, orientation, content and organization of the learning process. Principles of education are the basis for the effectiveness of building educational work in a military university, including the organization of the process of self-education of cadets. The used system of principles of training and education in a military university, is the most important indicator of the organization of training and educational activities of servicemen in the process of their physical training, its dedication and effectiveness.
