Abstrakt. The article discusses the problems of project planning on the formation of the development strategy of the enterprise in the field of small business. The authors stand on the position of the need for project management at small enterprises, providing a comprehensive vision of the tasks and processes being implemented, which is especially important when forming an effective development strategy. The article presents the project-planning algorithm for the formation of a strategy in the activities of a particular small business, which shows the sequence and composition of the necessary actions, decomposition of work, and the appointment of workers to perform tasks, the allocation of required resources, and the construction of a schedule without exceeding the allowable implementation period. The article attempts to systematize the risks, each of which has a different probability of occurrence and degree of influence on the project, and also suggests possible options for avoiding them or weakening their impact. During the project planning, the authors decided to use the Microsoft Project program, the main advantages of which are the ability to align tasks, track progress and analyze the volume of work, identify deviations from a given plan. The article identifies and formulates project objectives: analysis of competitors, p Market, suppliers, personnel, financial and technical capabilities of the company, logistics resources, as well as recommendations on their implementation and ways to solve them. The authors note that the use of project activities is an essential component of business and project management allows you to quickly and efficiently generate effective development strategies in today’s socio-economic realities.
