Abstract. The digital transformation of law enforcement activities and the growth of information and psychological threats actualize the search for new approaches to the professional training of law enforcement officers. The purpose of the study is to experimentally verify the effectiveness of the author’s technology for integrating network interaction into the educational process of cadets of universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, focused on the formation of competencies in the field of information security and moral and psychological stability. The methodological basis is based on systemic, competence-based and activity-based approaches. The pedagogical experiment was conducted in 2025-2026. on the basis of the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the control (n=30) and experimental (n=30) groups were statistically homogeneous before the beginning of the formative impact. The experimental group implemented a technology for integrating network interaction, including target, content, organizational and activity, and control and evaluation components. The diagnosis was carried out using the author’s questionnaire (Cronbach’s α = 0.84) and an automated data collection program, for processing the Fischer and Student criteria (Mathcad) were applied. It was found that upon completion of the experiment, a statistically significant increase in the integral indicator of professional competence formation by 21,5% (from 67,9 to 82,5 points) occurred in the experimental group, while in the control group the increase was only 4,1% (from 68,4 to 71,2 points); the differences between the groups are statistically significant (temp=3,98 > tcr=2,002, p<0,001). The results obtained prove that the proposed technology is an effective pedagogical means of improving the quality of training future officers to act in conditions of information threats. The materials of the article can be used to modernize educational programs of departmental universities.
