Abstract. This article examines the key factors influencing employee motivation. It reveals the growing importance of creating an effective motivation system, a complex and labor-intensive process that influences both the achievement of company and employee goals. This topic is particularly relevant because motivation is an integral part of the production process. Employee productivity depends on the effectiveness of the motivation system, as a motivation system is a set of tangible and intangible incentives aimed at motivating employees to be effective in the workplace. It has been found that increased productivity improves motivation, and conversely, an effective motivation system directly leads to increased productivity. A study of the company’s motivation system revealed a comprehensive motivation system that includes tangible and intangible incentives. To evaluate the current motivation system at Omsktekhuglerod LLC and study the factors influencing it, an anonymous survey was conducted online using a Google form. One hundred and twenty employees from across the company’s various divisions participated. The study identified a problem with the incentive system related to resource conservation. A set of measures to address this issue was proposed and substantiated, including the implementation of a system of material and non-material incentives for resource conservation in the company’s workshops. It was determined that material motivation consists of a bonus system and promotes employee interest in achieving savings targets. Non-material motivation consists of competition between departments for resource savings, which promotes greater responsibility and team spirit, as well as the receipt of various types of incentives. An economic justification for the proposed measures was provided, and the costs of their implementation were calculated. It was found that the projected resource savings at the enterprise in 2025, compared with actual indicators for 2024, demonstrate a general trend towards reducing costs for all major types of resources. Total resource savings of 1,606,000 rubles, taking into account all the indicated changes, demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed set of measures. It was determined that the motivation system should be individualized, taking into account the personal qualities of employees, the specifics of the business, and management style. A combination of different motivation methods is most effective in motivating employees to work efficiently and for a long time. It is also recommended to regularly review and adapt the motivation system, taking into account changes in the company and employee needs.
