INTERGENERATIONAL TRANSMISSION OF PROFESSIONAL VALUES AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN SOCIETY TRANSFORMATION

Abstract. The relevance of this study stems from the growing generation gap, the erosion of traditional values among today’s university students, and the growing gap between the generations of faculty and students. This necessitates the search for effective educational strategies that take into account both the cultural code of the nation and the realities of the digital age. This article examines the complex challenges associated with educating the younger generation in the context of the dynamic interaction of cultural traditions and intergenerational differences. According to the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education for Generation 3++ in Russia (FSES VO 3++) in the areas of Bachelor’s Degree Pedagogical Education, established general professional competencies such as joint and individual learning and educational activities of students, building a nurturing educational environment, the legal and ethical foundations of professional activity, etc., are important and particularly significant in the context of digitalization, the pluralization of cultural norms, and the weakening of traditional institutions of socialization. The problem of preserving and transmitting professional values forms the core of the professional culture of future specialists. The research objective is to scientifically understand and structure the various approaches and technologies used in the educational process.The aim of this work is to identify key contradictions and outline ways to develop an effective educational strategy based on the principles of intergenerational dialogue and the integration of cultural heritage into the current context. In this article, the author examines the impact of modern educational technologies on family relationships, the upbringing, and education of young people. The author conducted a study among second-year undergraduate students at the Russian State Social University in Moscow. Based on an analysis of theoretical approaches and empirical data, the author substantiates the educational potential of intergenerational interaction and proposes a classification of the main principles of an integrative educational model.
