Abstract. Love is the most important value of human relations and one of the key factors, principles of gender education of a personality. In pedagogy, it is considered as the basis for the formation of an emotional culture, respect for another person and awareness of the value of partnership. Musical art, especially popular songs, has a powerful educational potential, because through texts and images it transmits norms of behavior, ideas about gender roles and models of interpersonal relationships. The analysis of the image of love in songs of different cultures is of not only cultural, but also pedagogical interest, allowing us to identify which values and attitudes are formed by the younger generation under the influence of mass music. Popular music is one of the tools for influencing the masses, and it is important to keep track of how the image of love is translated into songs from different countries. The relevance of the topic is related to the fact that the music and lyrics reflect cultural characteristics and ideas about love in various social systems. Comparing images of love in songs from different cultures helps to better understand the worldview of peoples, as well as use these data in pedagogical practice to foster respect, tolerance and equal relations between the sexes. The purpose of this study is to identify the pedagogical potential of musical art through the analysis and comparison of approaches to the depiction of love in songs from different countries. The results of the work can be used in the system of gender education, aesthetic and moral education of students, as well as in the development of educational programs aimed at the formation of a culture of interpersonal relations.
