Abstract. The current reality is that higher education should provide and be responsible not only for training high-quality specialists, competitive professionals in their field, but also for training worthy citizens of their country, patriots who have an active life position and are aware of the values and unshakable principles. For this reason, the education of young people should be carried out in several ways, primarily through the use of their subject and discipline, as well as through the organization of extracurricular activities, such as various events that instill in students a love for their small and large homeland, guide young people towards taking responsibility for their actions, and shape their values and promote eternal values. If patriotic events are planned by the relevant university departments, then the patriotic component should be more clearly defined and implemented in a synchronized and systematic manner in the context of teaching. The relevance of this work lies in the urgent need for teachers to systematize projects and topics related to patriotic education within various disciplines. The subject of this research is the implementation and systematization of the patriotic component in teaching activities at a modern university. The scientific novelty of this research lies in the development of a set of recommendations that can be used in the educational process to enhance patriotic activities during classes. The practical significance of this work lies in the potential for using the proposed materials in academic activities at the university and promoting patriotic sentiments among young people.
