Abstract. This article examines the implementation of digital educational technologies (DET) in the training of international students studying Russian as a foreign language (RFL). In the context of distance and blended learning, DET enables high-quality educational outcomes and effective work with educational materials. The article confirms the relevance and potential of using DET in the educational process. The article provides a review and analysis of modern scientific and methodological literature studying digitalization processes in education. DET, such as distance educational technologies, e-learning, and learning management systems, are considered. It is noted that these services and online resources have become widespread and provide convenient storage, transfer, and structuring of educational materials, organization of video conferences, collaborative document editing, creation of interactive environments, testing, etc. Particular attention is paid to mobile applications for studying RFL, which occupy an important place among DET aimed at developing the communicative competence of international students. It is noted that developers offer specialized apps for learning Russian vocabulary, particularly at the elementary level; a number of existing online resources for learning Russian as a foreign language are highlighted. The article attempts to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of implementing digital educational technologies in teaching Russian as a foreign language. It is noted that the emphasis in modern education should be on the digital transformation of the educational sector, rather than the haphazard use of digital educational technologies in traditional teaching methods. It is concluded that digital educational technologies have significant potential for improving the effectiveness of teaching Russian as a foreign language.

Keywords: digital educational technologies (DET), communicative competence, implementation, teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL), foreign students.
