Abstract. This article examines the use of electronic educational technologies as a factor in enhancing the cognitive resources of primary school students. It is noted that fostering a sustainable interest in learning requires a careful selection of forms and methods for organizing this activity. It is noted that for primary school students, learning is the primary activity; accordingly, the core material is presented within the school curriculum, with additional topics offered on current issues and for the purpose of developing certain abilities and skills. The most common electronic educational resources for elementary school are highlighted. As an example for third-grade students, we consider the electronic educational platforms «Yaklass» and «Uchi.ru» for subjects of the school curriculum and analyze how they enhance cognitive resources. It is revealed that the electronic educational resources reviewed are aimed at enhancing the cognitive resources of primary school students by presenting various types of tasks in an accessible form. However, they differ technologically, structurally, and substantively, which affects the content. It was determined that the actualization of primary school students’ cognitive resources should be organized at both external and internal levels, along with work to develop the child’s cognitive skills, abilities, and competencies. It was concluded that the use of electronic educational technologies, particularly platforms for teaching primary school students, contributes to their comprehensive development. On the one hand, attention, thinking, and individual abilities and skills are activated; on the other, information is assimilated structurally and systematically, since it can be accessed outside of school. Therefore, the use of these technologies allows for the development of primary school students’ cognitive resources.
