Abstract. The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation and practical implementation of pedagogical conditions for the formation of information and communication readiness of cadets for research activities in the context of military vocational education. The relevance of the research is due to the growing requirements for officer training in the context of digitalization of the military sphere and the need for future commanders to develop the ability to analyze non-standard combat situations and make informed management decisions. The pedagogical conditions for the formation of information and communicative readiness of cadets for research activities in the process of cadets’ participation in the military scientific society are considered. The essential characteristics of the phenomenon of “pedagogical conditions” are considered, the leading of which in the context of this study include: the study of cadets, members of the military scientific society of cadets of the program “Fundamentals of research activities” and their participation in the project “Scientific Research Bureau”. The Fundamentals of Research program is a basic element of the formation of cadets’ information and communication readiness for research activities, including a case study of information and assignments related to methodology, norms, values of researchers, information search and analysis, manuscript design, and communicative knowledge. The article reveals the content of the program “Fundamentals of research activity”, presents topics and educational issues. The second condition, related to the participation of cadets in the Research Bureau project, allows them to integrate theoretical knowledge and practical skills, develop skills for public protection of results and use active teaching methods. These conditions are implemented through a system of organizational and pedagogical (for example, regulatory support, regulation of time resources, creation of research teams), psychological and pedagogical (for example, mentoring, formation of internal motivation, creation of a favorable climate) and didactic factors, means, methods and forms of organization (for example, the use of modern digital tools, problematic and project-based learning). The content of pedagogical conditions is systematized and presented in the form of differentiated data. The practical significance of the work lies in the development of specific methodological tools for military educational organizations that contribute to improving the quality of professional training of officers through the development of their research potential.
