Abstract. This article analyzes the linguistic worldview as an object of linguistic research in the teaching of native language and literature, substantiates the hidden cultural codes embedded in different linguistic worldviews, and broadens our understanding of human thinking and cultural diversity. Understanding these differences facilitates more effective intercultural communication, allowing people to avoid disagreements and build deeper and more meaningful connections with representatives of other cultures. Studying the linguistic worldview is an incredibly engaging and significant area of linguistic research, especially when it comes to teaching native language and literature in regional schools. When students understand how the linguistic worldview works, they begin to imagine these hidden meanings, their nuances and intonations “embed” in the world of the work, sense its atmosphere, understand the characters’ motives on a deeper, more emotional level, develop critical thinking, and the ability to independently evaluate what they read. By studying native literature through the lens of a linguistic worldview, students don’t simply read works but connect with their cultural heritage, understanding the roots of their ancestors, their worldview, culture, and traditions. The conclusion notes that every language is not just a set of words and rules, but an entire world formed in the minds of its speakers. This world, created from concepts, lexical units, associations, and values, is the linguistic worldview. When students experience the beauty and richness of their native language and literature, when they understand how much is hidden within it, they develop a lasting cognitive interest in it.

Keywords: linguistic worldview, teaching native language and literature, linguistic research, speech culture.
