Abstract. The article examines the problem of developing communicative competence of management students in the context of modern challenges of a changing economy. The relevance of the study is determined by the transition to an information society, where effective communications are becoming a key resource for management activity and ensure not only the transfer of information, but also the formation of organizational culture, maintenance of a psychological climate, conflict resolution, and the realization of the leadership potential of a manager. The aim of this study is to develop a differentiated model for developing the communicative competence of management students based on a comprehensive study of the structural components and individual typological characteristics of students. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were consistently solved: a theoretical analysis of approaches to understanding the structure of communicative competence and the relationship between its key components was carried out; the level of development of the communicative motive and communicative skills of management students was diagnosed, identifying the nature of the relationship between the categories under study; strategies for psychological and pedagogical support for various typological groups of students were developed. The complexity of developing communicative competence requires the development of comprehensive psychological and pedagogical approaches that combine the assessment of individual characteristics, the creation of adaptive educational environments, and the use of personalized methods for developing communication skills. This is especially relevant in the context of digital business transformation, when traditional communication models are complemented by digital channels, requiring new competencies from modern managers. The scientific and practical significance of this study lies in the development of a scientifically sound approach to developing the communicative competence of future managers, which can be implemented in the higher professional education system. Prospects for further research include the development of specific methodological solutions for each identified typological group and the testing of the proposed differentiated model in the educational process.

Keywords: communicative competence, professional training of managers, communicative motive, differentiated approach, managerial activity.
