Abstract. The relevance of the study is justified by the need to search for new educational technologies that take into account the characteristics of the youth community, which has changed significantly in recent years. Studying the values, interests, and needs of school youth is highly important for improving the effectiveness of educational activities. The purpose of the study is to examine the characteristics of modern school youth and the possibilities for developing educational technologies. The research used an axiological approach, a comprehensive analytical one, which allows us to analyze the characteristics of school youth’s attitudes to life, scientific approaches and propose possible new methods and forms of educational activities. As a result of the scientific work, the main needs of school youth, the characteristics of their perception of life and their future were determined, and methods and forms of educational work with school youth were proposed that can improve its quality. The results of the study indicate that the values of health and patriotism among young people are declarative; education is important for school youth, highlighted as a factor of success, but is viewed as a tool; the value of education and professionalism is low; Young people are committed to starting a family, valuing love, mutual understanding, the absence of any violence, and raising children together. They are willing to take care of their health, but through traditional, established methods, without actively pursuing this goal. Young people do not feel completely safe in the region; they are not sufficiently active in the transformation and development of their small homeland. From a theoretical perspective, the significance of the study lies in the scientific substantiation of the methods and forms of educational activities. From a practical perspective, the data obtained can be used by specialists working with school youth to substantiate and develop programs and plans for educational activities in general educational institutions.

Keywords: school youth, worldview attitudes, technologies of educational activities.
