Abstract.   The article considers the problems of increasing the competitiveness of an organization by introducing an innovative product. The author believes that by introducing intelligent technologies into the airport, making passengers’ arrival comfortable, increasing their throughput, improving security, adding services, it is possible to increase the competitiveness of the airport terminal. The article presents the activities of Open Joint Stock Company Omsk Airport. Based on the SWOT analysis, the author indicates that the most significant threat is the growing competition with the airports of Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Krasnoyarsk, and Novosibirsk. The introduction of new technologies such as improved access control systems can help identify and prevent potential threats, as well as ensure the protection of passengers and personnel. The author noted that the innovative strategy of Omsk-Fedorovka Airport should be built as an independent process, with a clearly allocated budget and a unique management system. At the same time, the emphasis should be placed not so much on the product itself as on meeting new market needs, which will allow the airport not only to strengthen its position, but also to reach a new level of service for passengers and partners. The author believes that the implementation of complex control with the introduction of biometrics at the Omsk airport is a strategic step to enhance security and optimize the quality of service. Passengers will be checked in the Aist system – an automated passenger and baggage check-in system at the airport with a multilingual graphical interface. The author has developed a project that includes the installation of a self-check-in kiosk and automated turnstiles, and presented an economic justification for the implementation of the Pass Complex. It is calculated that the project will pay for itself in 3 flights after implementation and is expected to receive an economic effect of 3,607,449 rubles per flight. The author indicates additional competitive advantages that will be achieved by implementing the innovative project. The project proposed by the author will be implemented in the building of the Omsk-Tsentralny airport, and will later be used in the new Omsk-Fyodorovka airport, which will make the airport not only new, but also innovatively technological.
