Abstract. The article examines the features of professional language training of medical university students at the stage of self-realization. Modern medical education requires from future specialists not only deep professional knowledge, but also a high level of proficiency in both native and foreign languages. The research focuses on the analysis of the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of teaching a professionally oriented foreign language at a medical university. The main problems of language training are revealed: the complexity of medical terminology, insufficient practical orientation of training, low motivation of students, methodological and organizational difficulties. Special attention is paid to the role of self-realization in the process of mastering the language of the profession, which manifests itself through the formation of professional identity, the development of professional skills, intercultural development and personal growth. Recommendations for improving the language training system are proposed, including strengthening the practical orientation of training, the introduction of case technologies and project activities and partner mentoring, the use of digital educational resources and blended learning technologies, and the formation of the professional identity of future doctors. The importance of integrating language training with other disciplines of the medical cycle and creating conditions for international cooperation is emphasized. The implementation of the proposed recommendations will improve the effectiveness of professional language training and ensure the successful self-realization of future doctors. The theoretical significance of the study is to substantiate the need to integrate language training with other disciplines of the medical cycle. The practical value is determined by the development of recommendations for improving the system of professional language training, including the use of modern educational technologies and the creation of conditions for international cooperation, which ensures the successful self-realization of future doctors and their competitiveness in the international medical services market.
