Abstract. The article addresses the issue of developing inclusive competence among future foreign language teachers in the context of modern educational settings, particularly relevant due to the increasing number of students with disabilities and the insufficient preparedness of educators for inclusive practices. The study aims to develop a scientifically grounded methodological strategy for teacher training, tailored to the specifics of language education and regional contexts, including the integration of new regions of the Russian Federation, such as the Lugansk People’s Republic. The research methodology integrates systemic, activity-based, competency-based, axiological, and cultural approaches. Theoretical methods (literature analysis, comparative analysis, and modeling) and empirical methods (surveys, interviews, pedagogical observation, and content analysis) were employed. A teacher training model was developed, comprising target, content, procedural, and evaluative-resultative components, emphasizing the adaptation of educational materials, the study of inclusive language, and the fostering of tolerance. The novelty of the study lies in the systematization of legal and methodological foundations for inclusive language education and the creation of a strategy tailored to the subject’s specifics. The results are applicable to higher and continuing professional education programs, preparing educators to work effectively in inclusive environments. Conclusions highlight the need to modernize educational programs, integrate inclusive modules, and enhance practical training. Future research directions include expanding the sample, conducting longitudinal analysis, and implementing the strategy at an institutional level to ensure equal educational opportunities.
